A luxury hideaway in the heart of Mayfair…

Steeped in history yet alive with modern glamour, Brown’s Hotel is London’s oldest luxury hotel and one of Mayfair’s most storied addresses.

Perfectly placed between world- renowned art galleries, designer boutiques, and glittering jewellers, the hotel is just a short hop from Bond Street, Regent Street and London’s most iconic landmarks.

From the moment you step inside everything is quintessentially British, which makes sense as Brown’s has been the retreat of choice for royalty, presidents and literary greats for centuries.

Superior rooms and deluxe suites are a haven of charm and comfort, with décor that showcases patterned wallpapers blooming with blossoms and birds, elegant marble-trimmed bathrooms, fully stocked mini fridges, walk- in wardrobes, and bookshelves filled with literary classics, a lovely homage to the hotel’s distinguished former guests.

Head downstairs for an evening of elegance – the Donovan Bar sets the tone with creative cocktails served in an atmosphere rich with character. From there, dining at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Charlie’s, is something truly special. Named after Lord Charles Forte, the patriarch and patron diner, the menu from Michelin-starred Adam Byatt (whose grandfather also worked at Charlie’s) celebrates British cuisine with playful nods to Italy, Spain, and France.

Expect buttery Dover sole, peppery Iberico steak, and crab that hasn’t left the menu for over a year. The cheese course is not to be missed either, presented table-side, theatrically from a gleaming trolley. ‘Candlelit Dinners’ at Charlie’s every Saturday are an elegant symphony of food, romance, and ambience.

Brown’s Hotel is splendidly English yet thoroughly cosmopolitan, and this distinguished destination is the place to stay in Mayfair.
