MyHQ, Cheadle Hulme’s co-working hive, celebrated their 1 year anniversary on 24th September.

The event, and MyHQ as a whole, have well and truly brought the iconic 100 year-old Bridgeway House back to life during their 12 month residency.

Black and white balloon displays adorned the entrance and interior, which of course included elements of the colour gold, to match the MyHQ logo. A glitter wall from Cheshire Flower Walls provided a glittering backdrop for photos and selfies.

Mixed canapés, classic cocktails and fizz were provided to keep everyone happy and get guests into the party spirit. A live band and DJ Yaz were on hand to keep everyone dancing.

MyHQ’s very own Dawn Porter gives us the lowdown on the space, and what they’ve achieved in their first year…

“We’ve gone from 0 to 95% occupancy well within the first 12 months, creating a hub within the community. We’ve seen our members and their companies grow and prosper, from people starting with one desk then moving into a private office, and companies moving from an office to then take over the whole top floor – it’s been a pleasure to watch their successful journeys! From the moment we opened our doors, we’ve not just welcomed local business people into the building, but we have created a true MyHQ family. Many of them were with us at the event.”

MyHQ are a co-working and private office space Monday to Friday, and offer a unique private event venue at weekends known as The Heist. Within its first year The Heist has hosted special birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers and even a surprise wedding. The ground floor venue can host up to 80 guests with an outside courtyard with retractable roof and heaters.
