The King’s Coronation will take place on Saturday 6th May at Westminster Abbey. Here’s our guide on how to throw a party to celebrate!
Crown Jewels
Decorate your party place in jewel tones and royal blue to commemorate the occasion. You want to create a regal atmosphere that’s sure to make your guests feel like they’re attending a royal event. Think ornate tablecloths, gold balloons and banners, and floral arrangements that are fit for a king.

The King And I
To make your coronation party extra special, set a formal dress code. Dressing up in your finest attire will make your guests feel and look as grand as the occasion itself.
‘Heir’ Of The Dog
Serve a signature cocktail (Champagne based of course darling) to add a touch of luxury to the occasion, it’s a celebration after all! Our Caviar Kir Royale will certainly do the trick…
- Pour 20ml raspberry liqueur into a flute and top with 100ml Champagne.
- Gently stir and cover the top of the glass with a rose petal.
- Delicately place a spoonful of white caviar into the rose petal and serve.

‘Coronation’ Street
Invite your neighbours, friends and relatives for a proper knees up. Extending the invitation to your pals on the street not only creates a real community feel but also stops any potential jealousy or noise complaints – result!
