The Women’s World Cup final will take place on 20th August 2023 at
Sydney Olympic Stadium. Australia may be across the world, but we
can for sure still throw a party to celebrate our squad in the UK.

Gather The Crowds

Invite your friends, family and neighbours too. Even those who don’t have an esteemed interest in football will want to be a part of the Women’s World Cup event – it’s only once every four years after all.

Footie Foods

Serve up traditional match day food; we’re talking meat pies and chip butties. Bovril and beer are the way to go for beverages, nothing says match day more than these! A party wouldn’t be a party without cake now would it? Purchase a show stopping football themed cake or
cupcakes to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth.

Fly The Flag

Decorate your space with flags from across the world, with the England flag (naturally) taking centre stage. In terms of your dress code, think face paints and football shirts. Dress in the colours of the country you want to win the World Cup – we’re opting for red and white for the England girls of course!

Get Your Game On

Do something enjoyable to pass the World Cup halftime period and host football themed games. Go down the traditional route and host a penalty shootout, a dribbling competition, or a trivia game about the history of women’s football. Or for something ‘out of the box’ combine two sports together and set up a game of darts with the flights of each dart being a
different country’s flag.
